"There is a power in eternity, and it is green."
~ Hildegard Von Bingen
It is raining here on the west coast of Canada during this first week of Spring.
My cheeks are rosy and cool having just come in from feeding the horses and completing the
ever-giving ritual of paddock picking.
The robins have been around for the past couple weeks and the herd has started to shed - a sure sign that winter is going to sleep.
Having waited for the soil to warm, the tulips are beginning to reach skyward. Such hope they hold, sealed within the earth, trusting that her ancient imagination will beckon them forth, while trading
blankets of white for green.
Spring makes eternity feel intimately present and today, surrounded by growing things, new and old alike, eternity most definitely looks, and feels, green.
